The breath of the morning wind

Sufism is a celebration of the love affair between the soul and
God. The path of the Sufi is a journey that draws us into longing
and ecstasy, into the passion and power that is within the heart.
This love that is awakened in the heart also belongs to the core
of creation, and is our greatest gift to life. The
heart contains the deepest secret of creation and the mystery of
our love. When we sing the song of the heart we bring together the
inner and outer worlds, and infuse our love for God into every moment
of the day, into every atom and every thought. We help the world
come alive with love.
The Sufi Conference brings together different Sufi orders
and lovers of God as an expression of oneness and love. The purpose
of the Sufi Conference is to create a container for a spiritual
energy, a frequency of divine love that is needed in the West for
its spiritual evolution. This energy of divine love cannot be brought
into life by any single Sufi order or teacher, but only when different
orders and lovers of God are gathered together for the sake of the
One, for the sake of the whole. Through lectures, meditation, dreamwork,
dance, music, and zhikr we will share in this mystical
tradition. We will be present in the heart’s remembrance of
God and help to bring His light into the world.
Presenters will include Pir Zia Inayat Khan, Maata Lynn Barron,
Imam Bilal Hyde, Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee, and guest speaker Peter
Kingsley.
