Directions

From Interstate 40: Take Exit 64 (Black Mountain / Montreat / Highway 9) and turn South on Highway 9. Proceed half of a mile and bear Right on Blue Ridge Road. Travel almost a mile and if travelling West turn Left, and if travelling East turn Right, at the small Blue Ridge Assembly sign and proceed to the entrance.

From Asheville Regional Airport: Take Highway 26 North 9 miles to Interstate 40 towards Asheville. Take Highway 40 East 18 miles to Exit 64 (Black Mountain / Montreat). Turn South on Highway 9. Proceed half of a mile and bear Right on Blue Ridge Road. Travel almost a mile and if travelling West, turn left and travelling East, turn Right at the small Blue Ridge Assembly sign and proceed to the entrance. Total driving time is approximately 45 minutes.

From the North: Take Highway 95 South. Take the Interstate 85 South exit, exit number 51, towards US-460 West / Durham / Atlanta. Merge onto Interstate 85 South. Take the Interstate 40 West/US 220 South exit, number 123, towards US 421 North/Winston-Salem. Merge onto Interstate 40 and follow directions above.

From the South: Take Highway 95 North. Take Interstate 26 West, exit number 86B, towards Columbia. Merge onto Interstate 26 West. Take the Interstate 40 East exit, number 1A, towards Hickory. Follow directions above from Interstate 40.

From Atlanta, Georgia: Take Highway 85 North. Take the Interstate 185/US 29 exit, exit number 42, towards Greenville. Keep Left at the fork in the ramp. Merge onto US 29 North. Take the US-25/White Horse Road exit, exit number 1, towards Travelers Rest. Keep Left at the fork in the ramp. Turn Left onto White Horse Road. Stay straight to go onto US-25 North. Take the Interstate 26 West/US 74 West exit. Merge onto Interstate 26 West. Take the Interstate 40 East exit, exit number 1A, towards Hickory. Follow directions above from Interstate 40. Total driving time is approximately 4 hours.

From Charlotte, North Carolina: Take Highway 85 South towards Gastonia. Take the US-321 exit, number 17, towards Gastonia / Lincolnton. Keep Left at the fork in the ramp. Turn Left onto North Chester Street. North Chester Street becomes US-321 North. Take the US-321 ramp towards Maiden. Turn Right onto US-321 North. Turn Right onto Fairgrove Church Road. Turn Left onto ramp. Merge onto Interstate 40 West. Follow directions above from Interstate 40. Total driving time is approximately 2 and a half hours.

Special Occasions Transportation provide service from the Asheville Regional Airport to the Blue Ridge Assembly. Shuttle fares range from $25-$45 each way and must be reserved prior to travel. The shuttle desk is located in the Asheville Regional Airport to the left of the baggage area exit doors. Upon making a reservation, mention that you are part of the Sufi Conference being held at the Blue Ridge Assembly. They also need to know the date, time of your plane arrival and departure, flight number, and the airline. Their office is open 24 hours a day and they accept all major credit cards.

Important Shuttle Information (please read carefully): Contact the shuttle service with your flight information as soon as possible to arrange ground transportation.When you arrive to the shuttle desk, you will receive a receipt; you need to keep this as it is proof for your return shuttle after the conference. It is recommended to make arrangements for the shuttle at least 3 weeks prior to the conference. If your plans change and you need to cancel your shuttle, please call Special Occasions as soon as possible. If you need just a return shuttle, please pay when you arrive at the airport to obtain your receipt.
